About Lemonade Day

Lemonade Day is a FREE, fun, experiential learning program that teaches youth how to start, own and operate their own business using a lemonade stand as well as fundamental lessons about life, success and themselves. Thanks Junior Achievement and the Saintsations for being a part of our official Greater New Orleans Lemonade Day Kick-Off Press Conference on Monday, March 5, 2012.

New Orleans Saints Free Safety Malcolm Jenkins to serve as a celebrity spokesperson for Greater New Orleans Lemonade Day. Jenkins #27 of the Super Bowl XLIV Championship team has been called a “rising star” in the NFL. Jenkins is not only active on the field, but off the field as well. He approaches his role as a member of the New Orleans community with sincerity and authenticity. As a result, he has been active in helping to enrich improve and inspire the lives of youth and families in the New Orleans community. In 2010, Jenkins founded The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation with the mission to impart positive change in the lives of youth living in underserved communities; by providing education and life skills resources, training and mentorship experiences to help youth and young adults develop into well-rounded, service and goal oriented citizens.
